How to lock or protect a folder

Its very simple to protect a folder from an outsider.
Before that, i want to tell you that your Hard disc must be formatted in NTFS format, and your folder must be in a folder for ex: C:\document and settings/folder

Just follow the steps given below:

• Firstly,click on the folder you want to get protected.
• Then right click on the folder and click on properties.
• click on the sharing tab in the properties dialogue box.
• Tick the make this folder private.
• Click the apply button ,then click on ok.

Now, enjoy. Your folder is now protected.
